Presented for your consideration is this neat antique Fisher Price toy. This is a #440 Pop Up Kritter toy made by Fisher Price. It is of Mickey Mouse's dog, Pluto. These were produced from 1936 to 1948 and features yellow wooden beads constructed into Pluto's body and black wooden beads to make up his tail. He is completed with a red collar and black oil cloth ears. He is mounted on a teal blue guitar shaped paddle. On the underside of the paddle is a loop which is attached to all of the strings. When pulled Pluto pops up on all 4 legs and when released he lays flat. At the time of listing the toy is WORKING. Top of the paddle is marked with "Fisher Price Toys Pop Up Kritter Pat. No. 1.601.983. Made in U.S.A. Mickey Mouse's Pal Pluto Walt Disney Enterprises." The toy is guaranteed to be old and all original. Would make a great addition to any antique toy or Disney memorabilia collection!
One ear and the nose are missing. No cracks, chips or breaks in the wood. Light wear from age and use. Overall in VERY GOOD condition. Please refer to the photos for the absolute best details.
Measures 9 1/2" long, 2 1/4" wide at the widest point and 7" when standing.
