Antique Lacquered Chinese Rice Bucket

Details: Antique Chinese rice box or bucket featuring a distressed, lacquered finish and metal joinery. This piece appears to have a wood base that has been wrapped in a woven cloth with a lacquered finish applied over the top. These containers make wonderful planters for orchids and are great for organizing bathroom accessories in a stylish, rustic manner!

Condition: In great rustic condition. The lacquered finish has some pitting and the cloth on the edges of the piece is peeking out in a few places (see photos).
