Antique teapot basket with brass accents

Description

Antique tea basket is in used condition with wear and patina commensurate with  age.
The brass fittings are nicely tarnished and the straw has aged to a rich brown.
At some point, someone lovingly added some fabrics to the liner, showing the care and attention of the owner, who clearly cherished this item.
Lots of character and it looks lovely perched on a shelf.
