Large VERY OLD Chinese painted sewing basket; round 10" with lid; nice 4 display
This is a very old woven basket that I am guessing is Chinese and had been painted. It is a pretty teal/green/blue color inside but the outside is quite worn as shown. The weaving seems great (bottom is sort of a herringbone...6th picture) and it is about 10" in diameter and 5" deep with the lid. Would make an impressive display piece but it is also very functional for sewing or whatever.
